Sayani’s work has been longlisted for the 2025 Commonwealth Short Story Prize, Asian Prize for Short Story 2025, and shortlisted for the 2025 Rama Mehta Writing Grant. Her stories have been published or are forthcoming in several magazines, including Consequence, Solarpunk, The Bangalore Review, Tamarind Literary magazine, Muse India, The Selkie anthology, and Indian Literature. Her WIP debut novel was a finalist at the Alliance Pitch Fest in Bangalore. She lives in Kolkata, India and has worked in the software industry for several years.
