Kum Vee is the popular pen name of the Kannada writer Kum. Veerabhadrappa. He has been writing in vernacular for decades, and received theSahitya Akademi Award for Kannada in 2007. He is a prolific writer, with hundreds of short stories and tens of novels to his name. This is the first translation of his work into English.
