Azra Sadr is a freelance documentary photographer based in New Delhi, India. Her visual storytelling focuses on quiet narratives, human resilience, and the subtle nuances of physical and social spaces. Grounded in long-form visual essays, her practice explores the intersections of regional culture, native food practices, and evolving landscapes across South Asia, from the boulder-strewn terrain of Hampi to the culinary ecosystems of coastal Karnataka and Kerala. Informed by her background in history at Lady Shri Ram College and design studies at the Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology, she prioritizes an ethical, immersion-led approach that allows intimate, unposed realities to surface naturally over time. Her photo essays and documentary work appear in regional and international editorial publications and have been featured in group exhibitions celebrating contemporary South Asian visual practices.
